Chicago Day 1

Today we:
-Met a juggler who works at an antique store.
-Visited a bunch of stores with items we can’t afford.
-Ate delicious vegetarian food at the Chicago Diner.
-Peeked into apartments along N. Halsted Street.
-Got amazing free chocolate samples at Ethel’s, then got suckered into buying a hot chocolate that was just okay.
-Spent two hours looking at travel books in Borders and cursing ourselves for not being as adventurous as we hoped.

Mister gets to come with us tomorrow!  Chicago is our favorite city of the road trip so far.

    We’re only cursing ourselves for not being adventurous enough yet because we haven’t been to one national park!!! Which is why the national park book we bought will help us not skip over them. Plus, we’re stuck in OhioMichiganIndianaIllinois so, you know…

    Hi Erik & Nathan,
    We’ve love to meet up while we’re in San Francisco. We’re not quite sure how to go about letting all the T@B owners know where we are so I guess I’ll just keep posting notes on the boards and see if anyone offers to meet up. So look out for that and also keep an eye on us and send us a line when you see we’re by you, and of course, we’ll be spending a few days in SF.

    I’d suggest you post a note on the Tab yahoo group every week or so letting folks know where you plan to be. We have found putting a list on our blog helpful for folks to know where we plan to be. So, you might want to keep an area on your site of where you plan to be. just a thought.

    I am sure many tab owners would be willing to help you both out. The owners on the group are the best folks you will find.
